With master’s or doctoral degrees, we blend the most advanced modern expertise with individualized care focused on the unique needs of each person in our care. We provide care from adolescence through childbearing and menopause, regardless of identity. We perform regular checkups, screenings and vaccinations, write prescriptions, provide family planning services and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, care during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

Certified nurse-midwives are registered nurses who have graduated from a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) and have passed a national certification examination (administered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). CNMs are legally authorized to practice in every state in the United States and in the District of Columbia. Nurse-midwives have been practicing in the United States since the 1920s.
